Priscilla's role a trimmer
Priscilla Bonnet TAKE a good look at Sydney actress Priscilla Bonnet - because you might not recognise her the next time you see her.
The starlet is about to cut her hair short and dye it platinum blonde after being cast as a young Bette Davis in the US movie Redheads (sic).
The film based on the career rise of everyone's favourite redhead, Lucille Ball, also stars Peter Mochrie. Filming will begin this month [January, 2003] in New Zealand.
"Priscilla is to play the part of the young Bette Davis," her agent Agnes Bruck told Confidential yesterday.
"She has long lustrous locks to her waist and the part calls for her to have shoulder-length blonde hair (Bette Davis was blonde in her early years) so she is getting it all chopped off".
Readers will remember the 23-year-old, who has spent three years studying at the Lee Strasberg Institute of Theatre in LA, as one of the pushy young things who starred in the Nine Network's The Dream Factory.
She also is a singer-songwriter, and the single she made after winning a Rolling Stone and L'Oreal/Cacherel contest will be released this month.
