Tuna Slice with Curry

Ingredients

Tuna 1 425g tin

Eggs 3 hard-boiled and chopped

Peas 1 cup cooked

Rice 1 cup cooked (See recipe)

Shallots ½ cup chopped

Cottage cheese 1 cup (about 250g)

Curry powder 1 tbsp

Method

Place a sheet of puff pastry on the bottom of a baking tray; try to cover the sides as well.  Mix all the ingredients and the seasoning in a bowl and place in the baking tray on top of the pastry sheet.  (Use your hands to smooth over and flatten.)  Cover the mixture with the other sheet of pastry.  Trim the edges and brush with the glazing.

Cook in a moderate oven (200-220deg) for about 30 minutes or until brown.

More Ingredients

Egg 1 yolk with 1 tbsp of water for glazing

Salt, pepper

Puff pastry 2 sheets
