Rice Pudding
Ingredients
Rice 1 cup
Milk 6 cups
Sugar æ cup
Method
Place the rice and sugar into
a baking dish and pour the milk over the top.
Cook in a moderate to hot oven (220-250 deg) for about 1 hour-1
hour 15 minutes or until cooked.
Stir every 15 minutes with a
wooden spoon. If the milk
forms a brown skin, mix it back into the rice; it will give it a richer
flavour - but make sure the skin doesn’t burn.
Eat while still warm. Children
love it warm with ice cream. If
you want to use it the next day, warm it in the microwave with extra
milk.
