Anzac Biscuits
Ingredients
Plain flour 1 cup
Rolled oats 1 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Butter ½ cup 125g.
Flaked coconut 1 cup
Golden Syrup 2 tsp
Bi-carb. soda 1 tsp
Hot water 3 tbsp
Method
Mix dry ingredients.
Melt butter and syrup in a saucepan.
Pour boiling water into soda and stir into butter, mix with the flour,
coconut and sugar. Place spoonfuls
of mixture onto a no stick-baking tray and cook in a moderate oven (about
180deg.) for about 10-20 minutes or until brown.
