Alsace, famous for it is vineyards, villages, stokes and chemney.

Yes it is what I remember from Alsace as a child, the storks flying with the baby inside the cloth…and resting on top of chimney…..as I grow up i learned, Alsace is producing lot’s of good wine and now I visit Alsace for is architecture, culture and peoples….. We followed “La Route des Vins D’Alsace” about 300 kilometers of winding roads from Colmar to the sud to Strasbourg in the nord.

The hills are probably more impressive than Burgundy, more neat and higher.

 

Haut-Koenigsbourg Chateau started in the 12th century and entirely renovated by the Kaiser William ll of Hohenzollernin 1899, Alsace was then under Germain rule from 1871. Than you William. And that's why we go to war a bit of land here and there...

    What better time to visit wine country. Please have a glass of their best Gewurtztraminer for me, as it it my favourite wine along with their Pinot Blanc.
    BTW, have you ever checked the font of your blog ? extremely difficult to read …white on white ???
